Yeaaah, I actually felt pretty good most of the day yesterday and today. Towards the evening, its like I have the flu or something, my skin hurts...crazy, but I'm loving not feeling nauseous. I even ate real food like cereal, with milk. I'm testing the waters carefully, I am actually getting ready for Thanksgiving :)
I went to church all 3 services in the morning. Got to pray with the worship team (we have prayer after 1st service worship for a half an hour). It was great seeing the team and praying with them. They amaze me! What great hearts and what love for the house. I love their dedication and service to the church. I love you guys!!!!!!!! Worship was so powerful sunday too. I have found new meaning in some of the songs. Like when the word 'salvation' is used...wow, that is MY word. I imagine all that Jesus did on the cross and declare His salvation package that He so freely gives by His grace. Then there were words like 'consuming fire' and I just imagined that fire consuming all the cancer in my body. God met with me today and I am more in love with Him today than yesterday. Keep up the good work all you extravagant worshippers!!!!!
I have a poem from a dear friend that has recently come back into my life. We were in bible college together and we lost contact. She herself is a cancer survivor and a mighty woman of faith. She has really helped me through this process with her encouraging and informational emails. I hope to reconnect in person someday. This is a beautiful poem that she wrote that actually brought tears to my eyes...I hope you enjoy it.
'Lord I trust you!!
You have stripped away all pretense...
and most of my vanity is long gone...
Gone with the wind and my hair...
Replaced with fuzzy head,
both physically and mentally!
But despite the lack of breasts,
pride and hair,
the bruises, aches and scars...
I can't ignore,
deep down the prevailing feeling,
trust and quietness in my soul.
My soul is still shining
and a smile slips onto my lips
and I give myself the hug
you are giving me
and I remember the rainbow
after the storm
that makes a promise of tomorrow...
You will be with me
and I will endure because
you are at my side!!!!!!!

Hola a todos,
Yeeee!
Tú has quitado toda pretension…
no puedo ignorar,
¡¡¡¡¡¡¡¡Tú estás a mi lado!!!!!!!!”

¡BRILLA!
